Meet Sharp’s Android Powered Robot Phone Which Has Legs
Sharp on Thursday started accepting pre-orders for its RoboHon robot. In terms of specifications, this robot phone is 7.7 inch tall and it comes with all features of a smartphone. RoboHon runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, it comes with 16GB inbuilt storage and 8MP camera. The beast mini robot can walk on its two legs and can be also operated through voice commands. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 and at the back it sports 2 inch QVGA display with 720p projector included in its head.
The company is also planning to unveil the robots in Japan on May 26 at a price tag of about 198,000 or for about $1,800.
Keeping the basic smartphone features aside, RoboHon also comes with a projector, can rest at bedside and can be also used as an alarm clock. Surprisingly, this Robot phone can also dance.
RoboHon can read messages and it will send you a dictated reply. You can also display your photos on the wall via its projector.
As of now, this Robot phone will be available in Japan and is expected to go on sale on May 26. Unfortunately, Sharp hardly sells its phones outside Japan, so we may not be able to have one.
