The Executive director of Microsoft said, “We do think there will be significant growth, As the industry is regulated, there will be more transactions, and we believe there will be more sophisticated requirements and tools down the road.”
According to the company press release “Microsoft selected KIND to participate in its newly created Microsoft Health and Human Services Pod for Managed Service Providers. The goal of this relationship is to leverage each company’s resources to provide State, County, and Municipalities with purpose built solutions for track and trace (‘seed to sale’ in the cannabis industry) technology.”
The issue of marijuana is still controversy worldwide and its consumption remains prohibited at the federal level in the United States, but with medical or recreational marijuana now legalized in 25 states, and it is getting more with the time.

Though marijuana is legalized for medical purpose but this is the first time a major US company like Microsoft joins in the business of Marijuana.
