Snapchat has increased the caption character limit to “more than double” on the photos. This news was disclosed on Twitter by the company and it made sure to mark that it was not April Fools day joke.

As of now, Snapchat hasn’t officially disclosed the accurate character limit which it has reportedly increases. Earlier before this update, Snapchat rolled the next update of its chat which supports video/audio calls, notes and stickers.

Increasing character length may sound as freedom to the Snapchat lovers as they can now make their captions more longer than earlier. Its main rivals include Facebook and Instagram. Last Month, Snapchat claimed to receive 8 Billion video views in a day which is almost same as that of Facebook.
