Apple iPhone 5S Will Be Available at 50% lesser price after iPhone SE Launch, says reports

Reports are saying that Apple iPhone 5S will be available at 50% lesser price after iPhone SE (Special Edition) will be launched on March 21. Earlier, rumors were stating that new iPhone will be called as iPhone 5SE but it is now known that new iPhone will be called as iPhone SE.

“KGI Securities Analysts, Ming Chi Kuo has released a research note to investors, which states that Apple’s upcoming 4 inch iPhone will have 12 mp camera as earlier rumors were stating that it will have 8 mp camera” reports MacRumors.

As we know that Apple discontinued the 32GB variants since the launch of iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, and this upcoming iPhone SE will also have 16GB and 64GB Storage variants. It will also have 802.11ac WiFi, Live Photos Support, Bluetooth 4.2 and will have 1642 mAh battery which is quite more than iPhone 5S’s battery which is 1560 mAh. However, iPhone SE will not have 3D Touch which is currently present in Apple’s flagship phones, iPhone 6S and 6S Plus as per reports.

Presently iPhone 5S is available for about $400 in the United States which could be available at $225 after the launch of iPhone SE. Also, iPhone 5S at this price segment will let Apple to boost their sales in the leading smartphone markets like India and China.

In India, iPhone 5S could be available as low as R.s 12,000 – 13,000 INR. iPhone 4S was recently discontinued by Apple in India thus making iPhone 5S as the low cost iPhone. Also, iPhone 4S was available at similar price as iPhone 5S will be, before it was discontinued.

Apple may skip pre-orders for iPhone SE and new 9.7 inch iPad Pro which will go on sale directly, according to 9to5mac. This might be new sales strategy for the Apple. So you will have to longer wait to shop it, when it is readily available.
